Created as a result of artistic passion and consumer frustration, G. Kero is now a brand modeled by celebrities and fashionistas alike. The love child of artist Marguerite Bartherotte, the French bohemian began painting designs straight onto t-shirts when her brother was dissatisfied with the t-shirt selection around him.
The brand has since grown into a worldwide presence, but stays true to its origins by using bright, painted designs. The name G. Kero gains its origin from the short film, Giselle Kérozène, a name which Batherotte herself has since adopted as a pseudonym.
So take a note from stars like Elle Fanning and Cara Delevingne and keep it casual. Pair your graphic G. Kero top with denim shorts and a leather jacket. Or if you’re looking to make a bolder statement, follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss and keep the rest of your outfit black. Our favorite model rocked her graphic top with leather leggings, a black shag jacket and a black clutch.
